Turn an hourly rate into a yearly salary, and see how much of each hour you keep after tax.
The quick formula
Annual salary = hourly wage x hours per week x weeks per year. A full-time job of 40 hours for 52 weeks equals 2,080 paid hours, so a quick estimate is hourly wage x 2,080. At 37.5 hours a week, use 1,950.

FAQ
Should I count vacation weeks?
If your vacation is paid, keep 52 weeks. If you are unpaid during time off, enter the weeks you actually work.
What about overtime?
Most provinces require 1.5x pay after 44 hours a week (40 in some). Add overtime pay to your yearly total in the salary calculator.
